I’m writing this on behalf of my wife. Around September of 2021 she started having diarrhea several times a day. This went on for about two weeks before she finally went to her doctor. Diagnosed with C. diff. After two weeks on metronidazole no improvement. Another doctor and two weeks on vancomycin, still no improvement. She got an appointment at a GI clinic. Two more weeks on a more intense treatment of vancomycin, things did improve, seemed to be gone, but then came back. I could see the toll it was taking on her.
I finally found this site and a post by Amy Burke. She wrote about her battle with C. diff and how a regiment of Oregamax and Saccharomyces Boulardii cured her. I went the next day and got her both. She didn’t take the extreme dosage that Burke recommended, she started out at 3 a day of Oregamax and 1 of the S. Boulardii. It improved some and we increased the S. Boulardii to 3 a day for about a week then decreased it after that. She felt better and the symptoms improved significantly to the point they were gone and she has not had a recurrence since.
It amazes me how this treatment cured what pharmaceuticals could not. I’m grateful for this site and foundation, and Dr. Burke for sharing her story.
