Virtual Town Hall

Peggy Lillis Foundation for C. diff Education & Advocacy (PLF) is hosting a virtual town hall on the state of C. difficile infections (CDI). CDI is the most common healthcare-associated infection (HAI), causing an estimated 500,000 infections and 29,000 deaths annually. Since 2013, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has designated CDI an urgent public health threat.

Anchored by our PLF Board member and renowned gastroenterologist Dr. Paul Feuerstadt, the town hall will feature presentations by Dr. Stacy Kahn of Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Sahil Khanna of the Mayo Clinic, C. diff survivor and advocate Maryann Webb, and PLF’s Executive Director Christian John Lillis.
